Due to high demand there are genetically modified strains which are high yielding in quantity but less quality, the production of these GMO (agric) variety has result to the "gold rush" phenomenon, whereby more and more people build a whole plantation filled with GMO strain, ravaging our normal tropical rainforest with such devastating effect on the ecosystem and on the long run the attendant health implications of GMO.

In the second half of 2016, the media in Nigeria saturated the airwaves with the demerits of living on GMO foods, giving us examples of the cost and implications of buying the technology and the damage it has already started having in our society.

These gloomy picture of what the health condition would be for our society in years to come spurred me to begin to think, what can I do as an individual who is unpopular and maybe without a voice, to stem this societal blight called GMO? I figured that if there's one component of our food that's widely eaten, it is palm oil, and if I could make a difference by delivering a non-refined, organic and non-GMO palm oil one person at a time, the world would be a better place.
