A word from President Bush Senior

President George H.W Bush to Archbishop Benson Idahosa

‘TIME IS TOO PRECIOUS TO BE WASTED’

We took a flight from Holland to the USA. We sat in First Class.
We were 6.
President George (H.W) Bush brought out his computer, the small one out of his briefcase, note pads and different things and began work.

I was finishing my book ‘Faith to change your world’ and after a while, I said ‘Good Afternoon President’. He said ‘Hello, Archbishop Idahosa’.
I said ‘Excuse Me’?
I said ‘You don’t know me’.
He said ‘I know you’, you attended Presidential Breakfast twice with (Ronald) Reagan and I as Vice President and if you think I don’t know you, I was the Head of CIA (Central Intelligence Agency)...
He said ‘besides that, if you were not a genuine man, the Airline will not let you sit near me’.

It gave me food for thought.
‘If you were not a genuine man, the Airline will not let you sit near me’ and this man worked from Amsterdam to Houston-11 hours.
He never winked his eyes and everytime I corrected my book and read and corrected and I wanted to sleep and I looked at his side, he is still busy, I open my eyes.

What is this man looking for in life?
Nothing!

His son is a Governor, he is former President on over $200,000 a year (pension). Free CIA walking with him, free FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) following him , free bodyguard, free everything yet he is busy.
So I asked him, I said ‘Why are you not going to sleep’?

He said ‘Life (time) is too precious to be thrown away’.
