Self medication: Man inject self with semen

In what appeared to be self medication an Irish man reported in
the ER with chronic back pain, upon clinical investigation the man confessed to injecting himself with his own semen intravenously for 18 months as his assumed therapy for back ache.
Examination reveals a red patch swelling on his right forearm, the site of administration using a hypodermic needle. The swollen region is hard on palpation. X-ray images revealed an area of trapped air beneath the man's skin.

According to report publish an online news media, the research author stated that "This isn't the first we've seen something like this. Perhaps this case reminds you of Aaron Traywick, the deceased biohacker who onces gave himself an unregulated herpes treatment in front of a crowd".
Doctors warned that it is dangerous for the untrained to perform intravenous injection on themselves, especially when they're injecting things that aren't supposed to be injected into veins, like semen.
