🌴 How to cook palm oil rice and beans...

Image
Palm oil rice and beans is one dish I really enjoyed growing up. I never left it. Once in a while I prepare it especially in University. This dish is very filling. I recommend it to those who say that rice doesn't fill them up. This keeps you drinking water again and again. I think it's very healthy too. Cooking this is not expensive cos we don't need meat or chicken. Smoked fish and crayfish is just fine. I didn't remember crayfish here yet it tastes great. I allowed beans to continue boiling for 15 minutes before adding rice. This is because I cooked small grain Mama Africa Rice. For those who cook Cap Gold, I'll suggest that you add the rice earlier. Cap Rice takes longer to cook.  frying pepper sauce in palm oil: ground pepper, onion and seasoning cubes frying in unbleached oil  pepper sauce is ready for water  add water and washed beans  washed rice is added at 15 minutes of boiling, for parboiled rice, add a bit later  fish is c...

Red palm oil is a nutrient-dense culinary oil. Its rich orange color reveals the presence of antioxidant vitamins A and E , in the forms of beta-carotene and rare tocotrienols and tocopherols of the vitamin E family. These nutrients provide color to vegetables and fruits such as carrots and tomatoes. Red palm oil also contains at least ten other carotenes, including the antioxidants, tocopherols, and tocotrienols (vitamin E). The end result is a delicious buttery oil with a mild carroty flavor. Here are some advices on how to cook with extract of natural occurring wild palm trees (palm oil), what products to combine with and how to play around with its distinct taste. You may do the following with it: 1) Use in stews with spinach, cassava or sweet potato leaf. A bit of peanut butter may be added to thicken the stew and blend the taste. For example, okra stew (okra, palm oil, lots of onions, meat, fish or both), palm oil stew (meat, onions, tomatoes, tomato paste, whole p...

🌴 Food for all...Unbeatably affordable!

Image
Before there were street lights in European cities, ancient Benin kingdom had street lights fueled by palm oil. While we're no longer in the age of powering our lamps with oil, it's imperative to note that this natural occurring wild palm trees have a high nutritional value which is valuable for our health needs.  However, our competitors pride themselves in high yielding genetically modified palm oil (aka agric palm oil, these are usually stunted and fast yielding palm trees which delivers high volume extracts), which is abundant, cheaper and easily gotten. The long term effects of all genetically engineered foods on the human body can not be over emphasized.  Amberneg ventures Ltd is strictly involved in only naturally occurring wild palm extracts (aka red palm oil). And our price is unbeatably affordable. Even though we want to contribute our quota to the UN vision of "food for all", only healthy farm practise and distribution will get us there. We...

Image
Palm tree is a an economic tree which produces variety of product mostly valuable oil extracts which are used for food and cosmetic purposes. Because of the economic value of this tree there is high demand the world over, therefore, the need for developing faster-yield strain to meet the teeming need of the world population. 🌴 Health Benefits of Palm Oil (revised)

Image
Few years ago during the early 2000s, in what appears to be an independent search. Researchers from Monash University (Australia) and University of Uyo (Nigeria) started to analyze the key components that make palm oil so unique and both came up with strikingly similar conclusions:  It is one of the few fatty fruits in existence, it’s likely to hold a substantial place in the human diet and is the second most consumed vegetable oil in the world. It is different from other plant and animal oils in its fatty acid composition (50% saturated, 40% unsaturated, and 10% polyunsaturated).  Where coconut oil has around 90% MCFA’s (fat your body can easily burn for energy) palm oil only contains around 50% MCFA’s.  But in addition to MCFA’s, palm oil is also loaded with the following phytonutrients:  Carotenoids (alpha-,beta-,and gamma-carotenes)  Sterols (sitosterol, stigmasterol and campesterol)  Vitamin E (tocopherols and tocotrienols)  Wat...
